The centre is divided into three areas each having there own entrance and independently heated, lighted hosting there own toilet block with an accessible toilet, that can be hired as a single unit or segregated via electronic doors, providing personal space.

Main building

A ramped main entrance with access to a flexible open plan cafe area that hosts non slip flooring, door finger guards,  NHS safety low temperature radiators, making it an ideal space for a child care, spacial needs sessions, interest groups, connecting to an equipped kitchen, IT training room and gaming area with wheeled mobile equipment giving more flexibility and space suitable for forum meetings,  AGM`s, resident group meetings, youth clubs and table top games.

 

Muti purpose hall

The hall can either be accessed through the main building or when hired stand alone via a independent ramped hall entrance, its a 140 sq Hall, (a little larger then a badminton court), not only is it ideal for small sports clubs, mini foot ball clubs, fitness classes, but it can accommodate up to a 200 people in theatre style seating for a mini conference or training day, the hall hosts a low noise 100% fresh air heating system, fully dimmable lighting and retractible black theatre wall curtains, those facilities improve the quality of provision, wether it be dimmed light for a video projector or to reduce the glare for those laying down undertaking yoga, the curtains create lower stimuli by acoustically dampening the room and the option of a darker wall allows the play of sports such a Table tennis using a white ball that would be lost again a white wall, yet within minutes the room can be changed back and fourth. 

A sound proof media room is accessible from the hall, equipped with a mini kitchen to proved hall users with drink refreshments, or used a media studio that is suitable for podcasts, music practice, recording, and video creation.`

 

Green area

Our third area is an outdoor space, with a grassed paddock area, and hosts DDA wheel chair accessible paths, raised beds and green house, having its own outdoor accessible toilet allows projects to be independently ran without needing to use the centre. 

IT TRAINING ROOM

The IT Training room offers a quite, low stimuli environment with a 12 person capacity (8 to 10 with wheel chair use), 7x IT stations centrally networked to 600mb high speed broadband connection.

Utilising storage shutters, safely boxed fire extinguishers and wheeled equipment this area is flexible to become open plan, fitted with non slip flooring, LST radiators & finger guards, it quickly can be transformed from board room meeting style for 20 persons, to a cafe layout, a youth club recreational area, or child care. Its suitability is for a wide range of activates, ages and ability's. With plenty of space for food and refreshment side tables in the cafe area.

The main centre features split lighting circuits allowing users to switch off lighiting sections when using  screens or video projectors.

KITCHEN

A roller shuttered kitchen opens up to the cafe and gaming area, although compact it hosts a (Hand sink, Food prep sink, Dish washing sink and a sluice sink), its equipped with a dish washer, and four rack commercial oven, a potable hob is  available on request.

The hall has a flat ground entrance, no steps with close to road access making it easy to bring in amplified equipment such as speaker and microphones for fitness classes, the centre hosts 200 chairs and modular stage with the option to make up to a 30ft x 20ft stage, as well as offering 32x 2m x 1m martial art mats. 

MEDIA ROOM

Directly accessible from the hall is a sound proof media room, utilising two DDA panel doors that reduces sounds spillage allowing it to be used for recording or broadcasting room for a main event. On its own it's ideal for video and audio creation and band rehearsal. (It also hosts a mini kitchen allowing creatives to have cuppa or can be used as a part of the hall to enable small groups to offer simple drinks refreshments without the need to hire the whole building)

Toilets may not be the most exciting feature but you certainly want a clean one, not only do we have updated toilets the centre hosts three accessible toilets that are over sized and uncluttered with hand towels fitted giving an alternative option to noisy hand dryers.

The south facing sun trap at the rear of the centre makes for a great green growing area and outdoor teaching paddock (ideal for dog training), this area can be accessed as a part of the main building or independently via its own gates, and utilises wheel chair accessiable paths, raised beds and wheel chair accessible green house. (The outdoor accessible toilet block is due to be completed midd 2024)
